ABOUT
26 albums, 45-55 minutes a piece, and one absurdly determined metalhead.

The Biscuit Merchant is the pseudonym of one Justin Lawnchair, a lifelong musician dedicated to the art of "melting pot metal" that fans of all subgenres can enjoy. One song might be a doomy dirge, immediately followed by that old-school thrash energy. Will the next be a lightly proggy epic? Or maybe even a mixture of the three? Nothing's for certain.

"Alpha" is the long-running project attempting to assemble an asynchronous collection of 26 albums, one for each letter of the alphabet. The ultimate goal is for each album to stand on its own and be enjoyed as a single entity. The hardcore fan is encouraged to one day listen to all 26 in alphabetical order to appreciate the flow of each "letter" into the next. How each album begins and ends has been part of the writing process since the idea for the project started in 2009.
